AstroEvenings
AstroEvenings was founded in Switzerland in 2010 with
the aim to launch astrotourism across a wide range of destinations,
to bring the stars and starry nights closer to European
sky-deprived city dwellers and demanding travellers expecting
more from their holidays.
Our philosophy
Our philosophy may be summarized in seven points:
BEST SKIES: We bring you to regions and places with the best starry nights:
clean and dry air, low light pollution, mid-high altitude.
BEST SITES: We bring you to nice astro-observation sites: wind-protected,
free horizons, with minimal light-pollution, close to a hotel or restaurant.
BEST INSTRUMENTS: we supply you with suitable telescope, which we pilot
for you. No effort required, no learning else than looking into the eyepiece!
TOP EXPERTISE: we deliver all the time high quality explanations,
about the viewed objects, about the Universe in general,
about the history of astronomy. Presented in an interactive fashion, in dialogue
with you astro-travellers.
BEST HIKING: we select the nicest pathes for you to enjoy, whithout being
exhausted, amazing landscapes, breathe good air, bring the best memories
back home.
COMFORTABLE ACCOMODATION: Comfortable hotels (no globe-trotting tours,
no trekking).
GUIDING: your star and travel guide takes care of you and listens with the
greatest attention to your every wish.
